The vision I have operated under on the various fundraising units I've been a part of is that we are "donor-centric and bottom-line driven." This balance between ambition and empathy defines me as a professional.
Unprecedented success in so many areas has been the hallmark of SDSU Athletics in recent years and I am excited to contribute to setting the bar even higher as the Jackrabbits Assistant AD of Annual Giving. As part of a team of exceptional individuals, I am confident we will continue to redefine what is possible in terms of revenue generation at SDSU and help our external populations invest in lifelong champions at South Dakota State.
Under my leadership at CMU, our team broke annual fundraising records in raising $1.28 million and $1.34 million in 2012 and 2013. We also sought to be leaders in the department by providing new value-added benefits and experiences for our members.
I excel at wearing the many hats that come with athletic administration from fundraiser to mass communicator to personnel management. What I enjoy most professionally is the opportunity to engage with external populations daily and setting a vision for my staff and working with them to carry it out.
